About us

We Engineering Technicians are the most practical engineering Personnel of the Engineering Profession, we are the only engineering practitioners that fall in two out of the three engineering professional cadre. We belong to the liaison and the Execution Cadre of the profession. Thus it suffice to say that we are the Bedrock of Engineering skills. To become a technician, you must acquire a fairly high scientific and Engineering knowledge from a technical college, polytechnic or university in an Engineering course of a duration not less than two years approved by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and in addition have a considerable amount of practical experience. The technician in Nigeria is obligated to register with the Professional Body (NISET) and to be licensed by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
